FORGIVENESS

So I’m going to share something that I learned these past few days – or weeks 😂.

I learned how great it is to forgive. Yes, simple as that. If you’ve experienced it, surely, you’ll understand what I mean and you’ll think that this is not just a piece of a sugarcoated article. 😊

It started like this, when I watching a vlog of Viy and she said: “Mahirap lumapit ang blessings ‘pag di kayo marunong magpatawad”, the statement is something like that, yet sis, the thought is there. 😂

I realized that it’s a wisdom that is worth keeping. The moment I heard that, I did not instantly tell myself that “ok I’ll do this. I’ll start this by now.” No. I did not thought about it that way, but then, I remembered it, at around 12 midnight, when my mind was still wandering and not ready to sleep yet.

So what I did next is – I just forgave all people who hurted me in the past, may it be intentionally or not, whether they did asked for forgiveness or not. However, don’t get me wrong sis. I did not just do it. I did it wholeheartedly. You must not forgive at all if you’re going to do it with 50% of your heart forgiving and the remaining percent having reservations or grudges. No sis. Just no. Also, it would be best if you did not make yourself an exception of people that you should forgive. You may have done something to yourself that sometimes made you kind of hate yourself a bit, like doing the same mistake then promising not to do it again but there you are, repeating the same mistake. Or, not having the courage to get the happiness that you deserve.

So yeah, the very moment you forgive, is the time all the blessings, answered prayers, positivity will come to you. For real. And I tell you sis, it feels surreal. Sobrang solid. 💓 And then, you’ll just thank God for everything and most especially, by giving you the strength to forgive. Also, if something caused you too much pain to not forgive (ik this is the nth time to use this word 😂), still, just surrender it to God and forgive. Do it wholeheartedly. Do it sincerely. Kaya mo ‘yan sis.

In conclusion (is dis research paper?😂), forgetting is ok but forgiving is best. Also, the latter will make your life so much blessed. God can forgive, so who are we, who are mere humans, to not be able to forgive?

Author’s Note: Glory be to God for being able to write this one. I did not expect that I’ll be writing again, and I did not also expect that what I’ll write would be this meaningful. 🌻

Where in Batangas

WELCOME TO MY BLOG! I’m Jill Madeja, this blog will be about one of the best places to go to during Summer. It will be about my experiences there and how much I love that place and why I highly recommend it as a vacation go-to!

Matabungkay Beach is located in Lian, Batangas.

How to Get There:

  1. Ride a bus going to Lian, Batangas.
  2. Then, go to the terminal near the market.
  3. Ride a jeep going to Matabungkay beach.

From Cavite going there, the road trip will only take less than 3 hours (if there’s no traffic).

Before going to the destination, you can visit the market to buy some “kakanin”. Food there is the best! Your trip there is not complete without tasting their “kakanin” especially the sapin-sapin. You can also buy seafoods especially fish which you can cook at the beach since a barbecue grill is available there.

A little traveling tip, when you will go there, you can just bring less food and just buy food in the market. So you don’t have to pack lots of food while traveling and it’s also less hassle.

The destination is not the only thing exciting in going there it’s also the journey. The road trip going to the beach is exciting, you will not feel any hassle at all and it will take all your stress away ~.

When you get there, you don’t need to pay for an entrance fee. You can just rent a cottage or a table located near the shore. On the beach, there’s a lot of fun activities that can be done. There, you can see people jogging or playing volleyball.

The water is really clear and you can enjoy swimming along the waves or go floating under the sun. Being tanned will be worth it!

One of the best experience I had there, is snorkling where you can see the view under the water which is filled with small fishes and big corals that you can even step on.

Before going snorkling, first, you have to ride a boat to go to the area of the corals. The most exciting part is feeding the fishes there while you’re swimming. You just have to bring bread to feed the fishes and once you throw it in the water a lot of them will go near.

Also, the view under is reaaaally a sight to see, you also need to wear a life jacket to enjoy it. Another fun activities that you can try there are riding the banana boat or riding a jet ski.

So try visiting the place, I’m sure you would love it and you’ll think of still going back <3.
